原東風鍛造有限公司是由東風汽車有限公司與湖北東風汽車工業(yè)進出口有限公司共同出資，在原鍛造廠的基礎(chǔ)上（始建于1969年9月）改制成立，2005年1月8日正式掛牌運營。

     根據(jù)國家“雙百行動”計劃，在東風汽車集團有限公司的指導下，結(jié)合各單位實際情況，2018年11月30日，東風商用車有限公司旗下原鑄造一廠、鑄造二廠、東風鍛造有限公司及其子公司神力公司，四家單位正式合并成立新東風鍛造有限公司。

     According to the national "double-hundred action" plan, under the careful guidance of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. and in combination with the actual situation of each unit, on November 30, 2018, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. 's original NO.1 Foundry, NO.2 Foundry, Dongfeng Forging Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary Shenli Forging Co., Ltd., the four units formally merged to form the new Dongfeng Forging Co., Ltd.
